
Madhuri Dixit is an acclaimed Indian actress known for her roles in the films 'Beta'"Saajan," and 'Hum Ahain Koun'. ..!' Her career in the 80s and came to popularity with her part in the movie 'Tezaab' where she played alongside veteran actor Anil Kapoor. Her next appearance was in the movie 'Dil' which she starred alongside Aamir Khan. Born to a middle-class, middle-class family from Mumbai, she started learning dance at an early age. She tried her hand at acting as young however, it wasn't an easy task. Most of her first films were unsuccessful. Then she found success and eventually, she would be a leading actor in the Indian film industry. She stopped her career following her marriage prior to returning to the entertainment business. More recently, she played an important part in the film 'Gulaab Gang', which was about the challenges faced by women in India. Dixit has been nominated fifteen times for Filmfare Awards. Eight of these awards she won. She was also awarded the Padma Shri (the fourth highest civilian award in India). She is known for her work with the social sector and also for her charitable work.
