Mary McCormack was an American actress best known for her role as the protagonist in TV series such as "Murder One", "The West Wing", "In Plain Sight" and Loaded. Additionally, she is known for her film roles, she has appeared in "Private Parts", "Deep Impact", "True Crime" and 1408. McCormack, who was born into a family with no entertainment connections in any way to her family tree, was the daughter of a clinical therapy and an owner of an ice cream parlor. She attended Wardlaw-Hartridge School, and following the divorce from her parents around the year 1990 then went on to Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut and eventually graduated with a bachelor's degree in comparative art. At the age of 12 She began her acting career in one of the productions of the Christmas musical "Amahl And The Night Visitors". The actress continued to perform on stage and finally landed parts on the large and small screen. In the present, McCormack is recognized as one of the best performers in Hollywood. She is the mother of three children and a husband who is a producer/director Michael Morris.
