Christopher Peter Meloni, an American actor is best known for his character on the tv show Law & Order Special Victims Unit. In college, he began to develop an interest in acting. In the University of Colorado at Boulder it was where he studied acting. The characters he has played on television have gained him a lot of attention. He is able to play each of the characters on behalf of police officers and different. This is the reason that makes him so popular. When he first appeared on television, for his debut show, he was an infamous serial killer. In later projects, he was the role of an NYPD investigator. His performances on small screens have been recognized with multiple Emmy Awards nominations and PRISM Awards. He is known by his blue piercing eyes, which have turned into a signature and helped create a charismatic character for tough roles. People's magazine's Sexiest Men Alive 2006 featured the actor.
