LeBron Raymone James Sr. born on December 30, 1984, is an American professional basketball player for the Los Angeles Lakers (NBA). The nickname is King James he is widely thought of as one of the most successful basketball players ever and has often been compared with Michael Jordan in debates over the best basketball player of all time. James has been the recipient of four NBA Championships as well as Four NBA MVP Awards as well as Four NBA Finals MVP Awards and three All-Star MVP Awards. He has also won two Olympic gold medals. James is the holder of the highest number of points scored in the post-season, second best total career point total and seventh highest number of career assists. James is the NBA All-Star has made the All-NBA Team 18 times, which is a record. He was also selected for make the NBA All-Defensive First Team 5 times. He was the 3rd player to compete in NBA Finals. Eight of those were consecutive from 2011 through the year 2018. James was chosen as a part of the NBA75th Anniversary Team. And in 2022, he became the first NBA player to ever score more than 10,000 career points. James was a basketball player at St. Vincent-St. Mary High School in Akron Ohio, where he grew up. Media across the country portrayed James as a future NBA star. He was a pro-prep player and was selected as the highest selection from the Cleveland Cavaliers in the NBA Draft in 2003.
